New Website Features Business Week?s Top Young Entrepreneurs Offering Personal Business Advice

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 13, 2006

Gen-Y (http://www.gen-y.org) has announced a new website featuring eight of Business Week?s top twenty entrepreneurs under the age of twenty-five as personal idea consultants for website visitors. Among the eight include Joanna Alberti of philoSophie?s and Anand Chhatpar of BrainReactions, who make up two of the top five entrepreneurs selected by Business Week?s online readers. Visitors to Gen-Y are able to submit business ideas to these top young entrepreneurs for their feedback.

?Generation Y is full of young entrepreneurs with new business ideas in need of support and direction,? says Erick Chang, Founder of Gen-Y. ?This website is a great way for them to become inspired by successful young entrepreneurs and to gain the advice and support to achieve their own success.?

Generation Y has recently become the subject of many studies and headlines highlighting its unique characteristics, including its enthusiasm for entrepreneurship. As a result, many websites have been launched to support this new generation, but none offer personal advice from young entrepreneurs of this caliber and recognition. The Gen-Y website matches business ideas to specific entrepreneurs based on their expertise. For example, if a web-based business idea is submitted, the idea is likely to be given to Ryan Allis, an internet marketing expert, or Michael Schneider, a website designer, for evaluation.

In addition to offering private business feedback, Gen-Y also allows visitors to submit business ideas to a public forum for other visitors to evaluate, submit postings for business partners, and also shop from the Gen-Y store. Lastly, a portion of all revenues are donated to Junior Achievement to aid its mission in educating young people about business.

?If you have a business idea, no matter what stage it?s in, receiving expert feedback from these successful young entrepreneurs will help bring your idea closer to fruition,? says Erick Chang. ?They will offer you unique insight you won?t find anywhere else because they truly represent and understand today?s young entrepreneur.?
